Rethinking the face

A major theme, with an uninterrupted historical journey through to its contemporary derivations, the face has established itself as an emblem of the human. From the Greek mask to faces modified with the latest technology, every era and every society has expressed itself through the features they have attempted to reflect in the face.
The sessions will approach this topic from different perspectives, from a parody of the cult of appearance and the feminist critique of the face and established canons, to a humanist vision of what it means to appear, to face ourselves.
The cycle will be held live at the KBr Fundación MAPFRE auditorium.
All sessions will be streamed and will subsequently be available online.
New registrations will be attended up to 3 hours prior to each session.
