The four selected artists (Bernat Erra, Irina Cervelló, Abril Coudougnan, and Patrick Martin) share a critical and sensitive perspective on the construction of memory, whether intimate, collective, or territorial. Through diverse visual languages —including analog and digital photography, as well as the reinterpretation of personal and public archives— their work explores how photography can serve as a tool to investigate interpersonal connections, the traces left by industry on the landscape, and the role images play in shaping identities and shared memories. <\/p>\n

In Opaco<\/em>, Irina Cervelló <\/strong>examines the cultural, environmental, and economic implications of the Solvay petrochemical complex in her hometown of Martorell. In Tous les maux<\/span> mots sont inventés<\/em>, Abril Coudougnan<\/strong> immerses the viewer in her personal photographic archive, a multitude of images taken over six years. For his part, Looking for George<\/em> by Patrick Martin<\/strong> invites reflection on the myths that shape collective memory. Concluding the exhibition, Bernat Erra <\/strong>continues this exploration in Fe de errata<\/em>, analyzing the construction of a collective identity through the religious imagery associated with Catholicism.<\/p>\n
