A major theme, with an uninterrupted historical journey through to its contemporary derivations, the face has established itself as an emblem of the human. From the Greek mask to faces modified with the latest technology, every era and every society has expressed itself through the features they have attempted to reflect in the face.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0sessions\u00a0will\u00a0approach\u00a0this\u00a0topic\u00a0from\u00a0different\u00a0perspectives, from\u00a0a\u00a0parody\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0cult\u00a0of\u00a0appearance\u00a0and the\u00a0feminist\u00a0critique of\u00a0the\u00a0face\u00a0and\u00a0established\u00a0canons, to\u00a0a humanist\u00a0vision\u00a0of\u00a0what\u00a0it\u00a0means\u00a0to\u00a0appear, to\u00a0face\u00a0ourselves.<\/p>\n

The cycle will be held live at the KBr Fundaci\u00f3n MAPFRE<\/strong> auditorium.<\/p>\n
