From their different professional fields, the participants will address the process of archive creation throughout history, the progressive consolidation of archives as a key part of heritage and cultural conservation, their adaptation to technological shifts, and the stringencies of commoditization and globalization\u2026 In sum, diverse and complementary voices that will strive two answer two questions: What do we choose to preserve? What falls into oblivion? These are essential issues at a time when images are produced in an unrestrained manner, while their consumption and preservation as a whole appear to be impossible.<\/p>\n

The cycle will be held in person at KBr Fundación MAPFRE’s <\/strong>auditorium.<\/p>\n

All lectures will be streamed live and will be available online subsequently.<\/p>\n
